This is a little project I worked on over the weekend. I'm trying to improve my inconsistent style xP So I decided to draw my OC Kaji in all different styles from the manga/anime I like (lol ya think thats gonna improve my inconsistency? doubt it xD).
I do believe its taught me a lot already though! I sketched out Kaji in the style of the manga/anime but using a couple reference pictures from the series and giving them features which turned it into my OC. I mainly focused on the main eye and hair style of manga/anime characters. My goal is to try out the different styles and maybe fix up my style problems or add different aspects to my art. But there's so many cool styles, I'm having trouble fitting/growing my style consistently.

If you just wanna critique, please go ahead but this is not supposed to be a clean neat artwork xD Also, please let me know if you like any style of 'Kaji' better then the others or if you notice any strengths or weaknesses in these sketches. By the way, Kaji is supposed to be part of my hockey manga... He's a is very competitive, cocky, and smart. As you can see by his wild hair and bandana, he likes to standout but acts cool about it. Though he does have team-captain qualities, he can easily lose control of his temper even though he is a control-freak.
