▌ As'ad wields two curved daggers and has a small vial of poison stashed away in his left pocket that he stole from a traveling merchant. If his weapons are knocked out of his hands, he'll fight with his claws and teeth.

He only uses his demon form to scare away those who he finds threatening. He'll transform, bare his teeth, and hiss at his enemy. Most people find this daunting, and will blanch, which leaves him an opening to run away.

He is agile and light on his feet. He can jump to exceptionally high heights with a well-judged leap.

He has a kind of "in-your-face" personality. If he considers you a friend, then he won't hesitate to drag you along on his heists and show you the things he's stolen.

h i s t o r y :

▌ As'ad grew up as a lowly street urchin. He survived with the help of his older brother who would essentially starve himself to make sure As'ad was fed. His brother Nagi taught him the back pathways along the Egyptian streets and how to scale buildings. Prompting him to steal to live, his brother is who taught As'ad where to look for valuables and how to get them.

The heists gave him confidence and he started to successfully gain food without a problem. He grew greedy and wanted to try stealing something that would help them get off the poor streets of Egypt. As time went on, As'ad was eventually caught stealing a rare gold piece. The punishment called for was harsh, so he tried to flee. His brother helped him get away, but was caught in his place. Nagi was executed for the theft. Since then, As'ad vowed never to steal if it wasn't necessary for his survival.

But he eventually forgot that vow. Now, he roams the streets of Egypt and, as a vagabond, mugs the rich and pickpockets any unsuspecting city-folk. He's gathered a lot of gold, but is still dirt poor since he clings to everything he earns instead of selling it. He openly wears nearly everything he owns.
