I agree that it should be a female mascot this time.

Please let me explain how I complied with the rules:

- "Character must be an original creation." That I did.

- "Must complement the colors of this site." The main color of this site is Blue, and almost every (if not all) color looks good and complements blue. Really. So I chose colors that would STAND OUT from the blue while looking good with it. So that the mascot would be extra noticeable.

- "Must be twice as wide as it is tall (for example 500 pixels wide by 250 pixels tall)." The original file is 4500 wide. (-_-)

- "Keep in mind that the final work will be cropped/resized down to 125 pixels tall." I know, that's why I cropped it. :D

- "The character must embody theOtaku.com's friendly and creative spirit." Hmm, the most challenging part of the challenge. So I settled on the mascot smiling an invitingly friendly smile/smirk.

All in all, it was cool but frustrating into coming up with her proper facial expression. AND THAT ARM! ANATOMY FAIL. (╯>o
