This was another picture of Bonsai that I've had lying around as of late. I've been meaning to post if forever, I just didn't know what to do with it. I spent several days on this, mainly just fussing with myself on manipulating the image to something that I'm not used to. Generally when you get stuck into the pace of your own style, it's difficult to change, and can leave youwith a lot of artist block on occasion, thus I took a twist to be a little inventive with my style and create something a little bit different. So far I'm pleased with the results.
For those of you unfamiliar with my characters; Bonsai is one of the main cast of characters in a series I have been writing called "Sons of Magi". The story basically revolves around these two rivaling clan of forest spirits that have to learn to band together to fight to protect their rainforest from deforestation.
