A Feline Afraid of the Dark 
Wham!- Another PGR illustration from Eneko!
This time, it's Nyarth and Rai-Rai! It was fun drawing this!! I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone lately, and this was part of it. The poses were pretty tough to pull off, and I didn't use any references. It's hard to draw someone hunched over, and even tougher to draw someone holding onto dear life on their back!! XD
I also tried many different foreshortenings!!! HOLEY MOLEY it's so difficult. I had a lotta trouble with Rai's arms and his feet. I'm pretty happy with how his fingers came out, though!! I usually don't do well at curled fingers. Slight foreshortening in the fingers as well.
I decided not to shade/highlight this; it was very tempting to but in the end I decided to not. I've been trying to make my art more cartoony, and usually in cartoons they never shade. It's nearly always flat coloring.
I CAN'T FIND THE EXACT PERFECT SHADE FOR RAI'S HAIR. Muhhh.
I also made his skin a little darker in contrast to Nyarth's, because Rai is of hispanic descent. :3
Also, they're technically in the near pitch-black dark, but I'm not gonna color the background lol. Just letting you know they're in the dark. :b

We had just reached a hallway when I suddenly felt something jump on my back. It startled me that I lost concentration on the electrical orb, it went out and it was dark again.
"NYAHOOOOO! TURN THE LIGHT BACK ON PLEASE! NYA!" I heard Nyarth shout.
"N-Nyarth?" I stuttered as I started tried to regain focus. I created another electrical orb. Nyarth had his arms around my neck, squeezing me tight. I suppose he was afraid of the dark. Glyph was laughing at this, but I knew it wasn't to funny.
I ended up giving Nyarth a piggyback ride, I didn't mind, but I wish he'd stop digging his nails in my skin, it really hurt.
