Waaaaaaay back when, Adam had a contest that, surprisingly, no one entered. The contest dealt with someone on a long journey looking up at a mountain. I don't know if it was for something-site related or for fun. I guess we'll never know.

I tried to enter, but I missed the deadline. After that, I put off posting it. For, like, months. But now I think it's the right time to post. Good thing drawings don't go stale after completion!

I admit I'm not very good at backgrounds and landscapes. I prefer characters. If you notice, the guy on the hike looks suspiciously like an OC of mine.

THE GRASS TOOK FOREVER!!!!!! It drove me nuts. That's probably why I missed the deadline. But I gotta say, it makes a nice effect.

Done with pencil and colored pencils. I usually ink, but I didn't this time. I thought it would ruin the natural look.
