It's of an OC I made called Lyra the Siren. She's a REAL Siren, not the sirens that are actually mermaids. That's a mistake a lot of people make is that sirens were fish women or that they live on the shore when in reality they were described as being beautiful bird women who's song drove sailors to crash their boats into the island they lived on. How Lyra looks is what people think Harpies are but in reality harpies were ugly vulture like birds with women heads. So to recap; sirens are depicted as what mermaids should look like, and harpies are depicted as what sirens should look like. I don't know how this got so jumbled up but it makes more sense that a siren would be a bird since they both sing.... :/
