This is Marshall, one of the main characters from my story, "Survival Instincts".

Marshall had a rough home life with his mother before he set out on his own and made his home in a warehouse. When he meets Naomi in the city, and Naomi confesses that she has magical powers, Marshall, too, admits that he can move objects without actually touching them.

Marshall tends to hide his emotions, and doesn't trust easily. He also gets impatient at times. Despite Marshall's rough exterior, he really is a good person, and is very protective of Naomi.

When I came up with Marshall's design, I wanted a character that would balance Naomi out, both in posture and dress. Unlike Naomi, Marshall is not the type to look one in the eye. I also wanted to convey Marshall's attitude through his facial expression and pose. I'm very satisfied with how he turned out.
