I was watching this LINK on BBC 4 last weekend and I found it to be interesting and inspiration for this drawing.

The presenter described the moon as being like the earths guardian angel, as the moon helped create the environment for life to begin on earth; the moon protects the earth from asteroids and other potential threats to the earth. Also without the moon the earth would begin to wibble about and eventually fall on its side.

I really like how this has turned out, I've given Luna wings to be like a guardian angel and a different dress it's more flowy. But Luna’s hands could be greatly improved, but they could of been a lot worse ^^

I really love planetary moe and my favourite character has to be Sirius B but I have yet to draw him ^^

I've also noticed that I don't really do much fan art any more ^^
