This card can only be Special Summoned with the Ritual Spell card, “Rite of the Primal Flame”. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If this card attacks a monster with higher ATK, it gains 1000 ATK during the Damage Step only. Each time this card destroys a DARK Attribute monster by battle, draw one card.

Song that inspired this: Love is the Ritual by Styx

This is a card I made up for a GX fanfic I've yet to get started on. And a few days ago I got the urge to draw it. This story this card was made for is called Ritual of Doom. As the name implies, Ritual monsters play a huge part in the story, which is why Primal Neos is a ritual monster. Just think of it as the Neos equivalent to Magician of Black Chaos. Since this is a more ancient form of Neos, I wanted Primal Neos to have a more atavistic look. Admittedly, a lot of the inspiration for Primal Neos' design came from Bleach (hence the hair, teeth, and face markings).

The actual drawing was colored using colored pencils. I didn't want to color this drawing digitally. The background and effects were done in Photoshop. There also some touchup work done as well. I plan to have the illustration for the Ritual Spell done soon. In the meantime, enjoy.
