Progressive shading is a pain in the ass, but the outcome is well worth it! I also suck at foreshortening limbs, so this was good practice as well lol.

So, while thinking up character development/scripts/plot, I decided to draw this! Naomi starts out as a shy, introverted girl who plays the piano and has a dog named Rosco. Throughout the story she'll slowly come out of her shell, but I kinda needed someone to help her do that. I decided to choose Anya since she's the big sister type, and also the most down to earth of the cast. As a result, these two will wound up as inseparable friends, hence the idea behind the sketch.

I decided Naomi should be a vet since she has Rosco, but I'm still deciding what breed he should be. At first I thought he should be a beagle since I know how they act, but now I'm kinda torn between that and a Siberian Husky XD
