Finally! I'm uploading my 30 Days of Art sketches!

Day 1 was my idea. It was kind of an introductory thing where everyone participating tells a little something about themselves.

So, this is supposed to be me. It's hardly my best self portrait, but it'll do. In this picture, I'm knitting (obviously). Cause I knit. My favorite things to knit are toys, hence the book about knitted teddy bears.

I actually had to reference myself knitting in order to draw this. You won't believe how few DA reference pictures there are of people knitting. Actually, you might. I also tried perspective and failed miserably.

I kind of cheated. The drawing has been sitting around, partially finished, for years. In my defense, I did most of it on June 1. Before that, it was a rough sketch of a torso and legs sitting on a box-chair thing.

I used Panou's tutorial on darkening pencil lines, but it made some of the other parts darker, too. I guess I'm a little rough with my sketches. LOL.
