I wanted to draw Venus in a dress and I thought that a 1920’s flapper dress would suit her the best (it was a tossup between a 1920’s or a 1960’s dress) as it suits her body type, and that it would please everyone, it would please Sol, because it’s lovely V-chan in a dress, it’s feminine, which is what E-chan wants, it will please Venus because it’s simple and easy to move in, it’s not too girly, and she can be the female Al Capone if she wants to be, so there it’ll hopefully please everyone and no one will get hurt . . . .hopefully
It’s not the best picture in the world, but I like how it’s turned out, and it’s much better than the simple sketch I had intended it to be. I tried to work on the pose and making it look a lot more natural and less stiff, so that’s why she looks like that, and in-between of content, annoyance or is ready to launch into an angry aura.
A simple dark background (that I made myself this time around) so that Venus (the morning star) Stands out. I tried to stich with Venuses colour scheme with the yellows, the black bits where ment to be a browny-orange colour but I felt that they wouldn’t really work together so that’s why they’re black and now it’s more of a contrast between them. The waist band could have been a touch lower to really be like a 20’s style dress but it’s not to much so it’s fine. My fave part is actually the beads as they’re meant to be like the actual planet in bead form :D
Venus is from Planetary Moe, which belongs to rosel-d
I hope you all like it :)
