Captain Santiago Valdez (formerly Gunner) is the leader of Unit 11 and the master strategist of their special operations. He is also Danny's mentor and has kept watch on him and his family since his father's death.

Kurt Abrams completes the trio of the Abrams siblings. Like his brother and sister, he is also a CMA with energy manipulation. He is the most protective of his baby sister and thinks Danny is nothing but bad news for her.

Finally we have the Mavrick siblings Jon and Macy. Jon is the weapons expert of the unit and a good friend of Danny's. Macy is the unit's shy medic and a CMA with healing abilities
