Ryker: Let's go before the car gets all hot inside!
Paige: Wait! Let's get a picture! *taps girl on shoulder* Excuse me, but would you mind taking a picture of us with my camera? (It's our anniversary.)
Ryker: PAIGE!
Me: Oh, no, it's fine! I don't mind. Smile!
Ryker: Wait!

I know, you're probably thinking, "OH MY GOSH, she actually drew a background? With perspective?! It's the end of the world!!"
Stupid scanner killed the artwork... oh well.
I showed this to my dad and was like, "Remember my first submission of the girl and guy on that atrocious purple background?" The only thing he had to say in reply was, "Her head's too big." (I know that! I'm working on drawing better proportions! I draw chibis too much, that's why her head's a little big!)
OK, OK, before this gets too long I have to explain a bit about what Paige meant by "It's our anniversary."
Since BFT is getting a MAJOR rewrite (yup, can't find the first draft), it's being told from Paige's perspective, looking back on freshman year of high school, formally meeting Ryker, and their growing friendship (to the point of this picture). At this point, they've gone through such crazy stuff together that they've headed to their favorite cafe to celebrate the day they formally met. (They'd had classes together before, but Ryker was so shy he'd barely talk to anyone. Their meeting is explained in BFT, which I might post... *is thinking of possibly publishing it after the rewrite*)
Okies, enough spam from me today... sorry *awkward laugh*
