This was made for a local show, and it had to be something modern art (I just went with my semi realistic art style) and it had to be colourful, I think I've been able to produce something colourful, because it's difficult to draw something colourful with out being garish and slightly eye bleeding ^^but I really do like how this has turned out, especially Jessie, Dewey came out okay but over all I am really happy with this! :D I made a print of this for the show but really annoyingly some of the details didn't come out as well as I wanted in the print but it was more colourful and bright and lovely, and it's given me an idea for my mums birthday gift :D

The scene was inspired by a light festival, where you would put a candle on a little special paper boats, I saw it breifly on a program that was set in Vietnam and that's where I first saw it and got the idea. Here are some examples; example 1, example 2, and Example 3
