CelestialSushi's prompt for day 17 was for us to draw an inanimate object as a person. I decided to draw a tribute to my very first iPod.

It was a 3rd generation iPod with 15 GB of storage space and no color screen. But it did glow when you pressed and held the menu button. I loved that thing to bits and it served me well for six years until I used up all its memory. Then I got a new one and my old iPod eventually died from lack of use.

I drew my iPod as a friendly guy. His t-shirt represents the wheel and buttons and his bulky jacket is the case. He also has hair antennae to represent the earbuds.

I like how this one turned out, even if I did run out of room on the page.

If I were to embellish this sketch, I'd give him blue eyes. I'm not sure how I'd color the rest of him, though. I guess there would be a lot of black and white.
