Meet Lisbeth (as a little girl, and I do realize my previous way of drawing her has changed severely; I was going for a more anime-style since my style seems to still be volatile enough to not settle), and the Royal Guard originally in charge of protecting her, Ewan's father, Erik.
He looks super young, but I promise he's in his mid-late thirties at that point in time.
The other thing about Erik... I stared at my manga anatomy book for hours trying to perfect his profile... and I did... and I can't replicate that for squat! I'm wondering if it was a fluke... I can't even trace it and have it come out so nice and stylistic and perfect-ish! It's so annoying!
I realized too late it looks kinda awkward, the way he's holding her hair, but let's pretend it doesn't look awkward. (And while we're at it we can pretend I drew a castle-interior background. And that I signed and dated it for like two weeks ago. Lots of pretending going on today ene)
As a side note, the real version currently lives in the front of my binder for school... I got several compliments on my drawing ability from totally random people I'd never even seen before. -///- agh I'm still terrible at taking compliments. Can't do it to save my life. It usually goes "Oh, umm, thanks? I mean, I'm an ok artist, ya know..." or something to that effect.
Materials:
my anime anatomy book
mech pencil .7 lead
random Crayola black pencil
the usual sketchbook (the one I drew the Eye Spy doodle dumps in)
*sigh* There I go rambling again... *brick'd*
