So, anyone remember this drawing that I did practically five years ago?

Anyone? No? I don't blame you.

Anyway, I was originally going to use this for one of those "Draw this Again" memes you can find on DeviantArt, but I like it enough that I'm just going to post it as a stand-alone piece.

About the piece proper, I was testing out a lineless, more paint-like style of coloring in Photoshop and... I really, really liked how it turned out. I'm actually super proud of this one in general, even the background to some extent. Although I have to say, skies are deceptively hard to shade right. I'm still not quite happy with how the sky looks, but maybe I'll play with it a bit and see if I can make it better.

You know that feeling when you're looking at an old piece of artwork next to a new one and feel great about how much you've improved? Yeah, I'm feeling that right now. :D
