Used this made by the wonderful Kita Mikichi :) I’ve been wanting to do a body language meme, but the other one I’ve seen was really big and it is daunting ^^;

I’ve chosen to use Iven, because recently all I want to draw is him, and I thought he would be an interesting subject to draw :) (also I’ve just noticed he looks a bit like my youngest cousin when she was younger XD)

Body language used is;
Neutral; His neutral pose is like on guard, ready for action, always aware of his surroundings and plans for attack/escape.
Upset/distressed: He doesn’t openly show this emotion either, he tends to hide it and go in on himself trying to curl up and hide it all, Lovell has only seen him cry once or twice.
Rage/Anger; This was really fun to draw :p Iven swings and points with his bow a lot and uses it as a weapon as it’s self especially when angry. He’s scary when angry.
Happy/Excitement: Go home Iven, you’re drunk XD This is just a bit out of character for Iven, he does get happy but he’s not too open and doesn’t really express it (only rarely and in the company of a few specific people) and I struggled a lot on trying to show it.

I had fun doing this and made me realise that I need to have more body language and gestures in my drawings, and that I can make variations in them to suit the characters, because there is a huge difference between Iven and Lovell for instance and just as big a difference between Jessie and Llew or any of my other characters :) Also I concentrated on getting the body language right, so that's my excuse with the rather below par anatomy XD
