(BIG spoilers of plot details follow.)

He felt so betrayed.

They had promised him his wings back, but after he'd woken up from the surgery, instead of seeing the same beautiful, snowy white wings he was created with, he saw the horrible clawed bat wings they had given him instead.

ACK been waaaayyyy too long since I uploaded anything, gomenasai :( Things have been just so crazy lately.

This one's got a funny story behind it... after discovering that the next book in its series, the succesor to World After, won't be published for over a year, I decided to do some fanart of Raffe, one of the main characters/angels of the series.

You won't get the stuff in spoiler tags unless you've read the book, and like I said, they're pretty big spoilers.

My friend (the one who I'd been fighting with for months) teased me about Raffe being shirtless. So I promptly punched him (my friend, not the drawing).

Took forever because of the lovely shading (I say that sarcastically of course). No background... because I can because it's one of those scenes where the person is unconscious and floating in The Void.

Might be doing a colored version over Spring Break next week. Dunno.
