Never has there been a more polarizing debate in the Naruto fandom than Sakura vs. Hinata. Usually a fan loves one and hates the other. But I think I'm kind of an anomaly in thatI don't have a preference between them. I like both girls. Actually, the one I'm not too keen on is Ino, but I don't outright hate her.

I'm sure that who Naruto winds up with will have fans guessing to the very end. Having said that, I actually hope Naruto ends up with Hinata. I think it has to do with the fact that Hinata (spoiler for the Pain arc) worked up the guts to say that she loved Naruto. I know how hard it is to do that, because I never have. And the things that occurred immediately after that made for a very powerful scene.

Anyway, on to the drawing itself. I decided that I'd draw the girls pre-time skip because you don't see much art of that era anymore. And I had more references of them from that time period.

The one new thing I tried was to add more line weight to the shadowed areas. I think it turned out only OK because I didn't do the best job shading.

Finally I'd like to dedicate this drawing to LGA775 because when I was doing my voice meme, he admitted that he wasn't good at asking questions. I promised to draw him something anyway. Enjoy!
