So here's the bloody work I had mentioned in at least one of my earlier postings on here. Considering some of the other work I've seen submitted, I figured this one probably wouldn't be problematic.

To explain, this is a scene from an epic fanfic I've been reading called "Sam Dies at the End" by comic artist Maritza Campos. In this scene, Sam just pulled Max out of a room full of K.O.'d bad guys; Max is out of it, having been slammed in the forehead by the door he was hiding behind (hence the cut on his forehead), roughed up by said bad guys, and caught in an electromagnetic explosion caused by Sam (who had no idea Max was in the room at the time).
