A portrait a made for a local show, I used this a reference HERE. I followed the reference closer than I usually do, but I wanted to get it right and looking as realistic as possible and to use a relaxed pose to make it look belive able :) but did try and make changes so it looks more like how I imagine Ozzy to look, rather than a carbon copy and this ref was my favourite (to be honest most portrait photographs, people just look creepy in them, especially guys). These guys make nice, natural looking stocks :)

There were 3 themes and this one was for ‘a study of a local character in pencil or charcoal’ (Ozzy counts okay! XD) I also had a portrait of my godmother and a landscape for the theme of ‘the coast in oil, acrylic, and water colour’

And I got 1st place with this!! And 2nd place for the other two things and I could not belive it! I had beaten experienced and accomplished artist who have been drawing and painting for years and are like really good, I was pretty much in a daze and in disbelief for much of the rest of the day ^^
Also Ozzy (and the reference model) beautiful, beautiful face also won me best in show :D and a shine trophy :3 it hangs up in my room and looks lovely.
This is the first realistic portrait of Ozzy I’ve drawn, that I actually like ^^ but I need to work out his hair properly, it’s so complicated and weird.
