this is an old drawing, i started it over a year ago and got most of the way through but stopped and just didn't get back to it until a few days ago
as i am trying to go through and finish some older pieces that are still workable, in order to work through my slump *nodnod*

it was back when i was in my mermaid mode, and had been inspired by a mermaid avie of a friend of mine on gaia, himebuns
so i went and began a prettiful mermaid doodle! and then, of course, paused in momentary dread of the hair and scales of doom
when i returned to it, mostly what needed done was shading/defining and the frustration of hands, but, despite being older, i really loved this piece and wanted to complete it <3

even though it has been soooo long now, and she no longer wears the avie, and it wasn't technically a copy, this was still inspired by hime's avie and so it was her creation i must rightfully refer to
