Materials Used: Regular #2 pencil, black ink pen, Crayola colored pencils on 8 1/2 x 11inch paper
Overall Time spent: 6 hours spread out over the course of a few days.
To be honest I haven't uploaded a drawing here for quite awhile so this is my first drawing in like forever. Just thought I'd mention that.
Overall time spent on this drawing was maybe 4-6 hours spread out over the course of a few days. I did the line art last night which took me forever to get just right. I'm not used to doing more of a realism-ish style. Truth is it isn't perfect but I did my best and I hope it at least looks a little bit like David Tennant's 10th Doctor.
I first drew this drawing out in pencil (which lead to plenty of erasing this, redrawing that, and so on) until I finally got it looking the way I wanted it. Then I traced over the line art once I was happy with it with a regular black ink pen. That allowed me to add in extra details here and there to make everything stand out more.
Today I finished by coloring it with my colored pencils and that by itself took awhile. I wanted to make sure that everything had enough details and dimension as much as possible. The hardest thing to get the coloring on the Doctor just right, especially his skintone but I think it turned out ok. I really liked coloring the Tardis, the night sky, space, and I colored the Doctor's collar to look a bit like Earth because he's spend so much time going through the different timelines keeping the Earth safe, plus I just thought it would look cool. There's also a familiar little Nyan Cat leaving rainbows in outerspace along with his enemy Tac Nyan but I just call him Waffle Cat.

Surprise I'm your Fan Art Secret Santa! I was happy to find you had Doctor Who on your wishlist so I decided to draw David Tennant as the 10th Doctor for you. I hope you like the artwork. I had a lot of fun drawing this. First Doctor Who fan art ever. Sorry it is a little late. Hope you enjoy it and hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Hope everybody enjoys the artwork. Feedback would be appreciated because is one of my first times attempting a sort of semi realismish style.
