TRADITIONAL ART!!!! It's been a while since I've done a finished traditional piece. >:U I should try to do them more often...
My ~latest technique~ that I'm trying out for traditional art is using watercolors with colored pencils. For this, I did the base colors in watercolor, then did the shading with colored pencil. I think the method works pretty well, it keeps the shading cleaner and isn't as time consuming as using colored pencils alone. (tho it still took a while;;)
I also used a lot more white highlights than I planned. I really need to get better at applying white paint if I want to do all these highlights...!!! Maybe I'll just buy a white gel pen sometime, idk.
Anyway, this'll be available as a print at Anime USA! I want to do 3 more big-ish prints (like 8.5x11) of the PokeGo team leaders, and maybe a couple small prints of some Pokemon. I don't have classes on Fridays, so hopefully I'll be motivated to get those done!!! I'll also be ordering 2 inch clear acrylic charms for the first time, so I'm excited for those, too. *u*
