Snow texture used to add Snow

To be honest I think I promised to draw something for OoAnBuOo for quite some time now. I'm very sorry, life got in the way, a lot has happened since then, so yeah, well anyway I did finally draw something for you.
I decided to try my hand at trying to drawing something in Photoshop. So I drew/colored a sort of chibi-ish Articuno. I've liked Articuno for a long time. It's my favorite of the legendary birds from Kanto and it kind of has a special place in my heart.
Instead of typical black outlines like in usual art pieces, I decided to draw Articuno using blue outlines and just worked on shading and trying to recreate it's colors and details to the best of my abilities while trying to draw/recreate it in my own "style" if you will.
The snow and clouds just kind of were last minute, they weren't originally planned so I just went with it. I guess it added more dimension to Articuno itself. At least that's what I tried to do.
The main reason I don't really do a lot of "digital" styled art is because I don't have one of those fancy Wacom tablets. So I worked with what I had and drew this all by mouse, except the gradient which was Photoshop generated and snow texture to try to add more snow.
I hope everybody enjoys the art. I know it's very late OoAnBuOo, but I hope you enjoy what I made for you. I was inspired by a couple of your bird drawings in the past. Hope you had a happy birthday.

*About the Watermark: I'm sorry I have to add this now to my artworks but it is there to protect my art from getting stolen.
