Materials: iPad drawing app + Photoshops for everything else
Used this as reference when Drawing this character as this character is not mine and am not familiar with her but quite liked her design

Well I couldn't wait any longer so I am uploading this now. Sorry it's a bit early.
Where do I begin with a description for this one? I have to be honest and say I had A LOT of trouble drawing and coloring Kelsi on my iPad. I wanted to deliver the best quality art I could so that's what I worked for. The most challenging part was coloring her dress, finding the right pose that would work, ended up with a sitting kind of pose. Originally I wanted to do something kind of like this....but ended up being more of a challenge, not that I don't like a challenge but sometimes plans change. Just the way it is. Anyway....
The reason I chose to draw Kelsi the Celebi is because she just spoke to me (figuratively speaking of course) and I loved her design. So I went with what Celebi was best known for, being a timekeeper and guardian of the forest. First drew Kelsi on my iPad, then I decided to import her into Photoshop where I could design a proper background for her.
Started out drawing some grass, did a light blue gradient as a base, then overlayed that with grass brush that Photoshop provides. Actually I drew some trees and duplicated em to make em kind of resemble a forest, eventually blurred them slightly to give the overall art a more whimsical feel if you will.
Then came more touch ups on Kelsi herself, wanted to make her look as good as she possibly could because she was such a beautiful gijinka character. I just really wanted to her design as much as possible. I ended up editing her hair quite a bit. Finally got it the way I wanted. Touched up other details such as her dress, eyes, added flower brushes to the bouquet I already drew to make it more flowery if you will. Also added a flower crown with brushes since she had one in the original art.
Then added some more brushes like a few butterflies and maybe some sparkles to finish it off. Yep that is pretty much how this whole draw came together.
