Ug, really? Hate it when that happens...Somehow a character wins something by not doing much, and then they show the rest of the competition and they all fail miserably and you just think 'Mangaka-san, do you not have any heart for the side characters?'...
"That's so awesome Megane chan! But you should totally check out MY hobby- watching paint dry!!! *turns to wall and stares at it intently*"
They'd make a great pair of friends, though, see? But in all seriousness, I agree. Most of the time they don't do anything totally extraordinary and the main character is just like *A*
I once read this manga where the guy was a hair dresser. And he asked the main character to help him model for a competition of some sort. When he was finished with her hair, it really didn't look too different than what it started out as, and he ended up winning anyway. I was like ಠ_ಠ 'at least make it look like you tried'.
ANYWAYS funny comic. I like Megane's facial expressions :D
