I have been in your spot many times.
Back when I was still a noobie to the internet,
I did something REALLY stupid
and at least 6 people posted mean comments on my profile everyday.
( Of course I totally deserved it, but my 12 year old brain
couldn't grasp the situation I was in.)
It still happens today to me sometimes,
but I usually now how to handle it.
Yeah, if only. I just wish people were nicer on the internet than they are now (I got attacked by several people on Facebook once ._. It was like I posted something and then vultures swooped in, VERY QUICKLY O_o At least there was one person standing up for me). But yeah, after a while you figure out which places to avoid.
Yeah, the people here are certainly one of the nicest bunches I've seen on the internet. There's just a lot of general trollishness and the like in soo many other places (yeah, I felt like we could use that kind of word here XD).
But Yahoo! Answers? Oh good grief, yes... trolls aplenty there. Even some of the people asking some questions have to be trolling. Like this: "How do you unbake a cake?" Either I'm laughing or I'm crying inside because if that girl was serious... oh brother.
But it's not my intention to smear anyone's name through the mud, here. Just an example.
I feel like there have been other people online
whose writing style were much worse than mine.
On here, I haven't seen any really bad writers or whatever.
In fact, this place has some really great people!
Of course, I may not have been exposed to bad people yet,
but from what I've seen, there are no trolls/jerks.

Now that you point it out, it does seem easier to read when it's broken up instead of being a "wall of text".
I guess so long as it's nothing like a school assignment or for work (like business letters and stuff) you shouldn't need to worry about it much. Maybe it's different, but it's your style. If you were writing gibberish in weird fonts... yeah, we might ask you to write more clearly. But I don't see any indication that you're heading in that direction, so no worries :)
Sometimes I think this is the only website
where people don't get on my case about every little thing.
Other sites I go to tend to have ,
how do you say, an wider range of people.
Of course that means more people who think they are better than everyone else and make jabs at people (like me) for fun.
But, I think most of them are either desperate for attention
or immature 10 year olds.
Usually when I do the 'spaces',
it is a new senetence, but I get what you're saying!
I think the reason why I write like this
is because it's somewhat easier for me to do.
It's really not a big deal, you can write how you want. :) Eventually people who read your stuff will get used to it. It's actually a lot less noticeable in your comics.
To explain, I guess the biggest problem the people complaining might have is that reading the indentation "sounds" like you pause a lot in your speech.
As in, it reads like "So, recently I was on this website... And at least five people said my writing style was "odd".... I don't really understand... Okay, so it's not really normal and I do admit, I use spaces a lot..."
It might be a little tiring to read for people who have little patience.

@TrueStory:
Ouch. This, and knowing the way I was on the internet, really makes me think about parents watching their kids on the computer when they're young.
But yeah, you live and you learn.

" How do you unbake a cake?"
Oh, if only some of the
troll questions was as innocent as that!
But, I've been on Y!A since 2008,
so I'm pretty much used to anything now.

Now, Yahoo Answers however, is a different story.

Honestly neither did I until people started pointing it out.
Not on here of course, but on other sites.
