Krita is only for linux...buuut...hrmm...I got my photoshop elements for free for buying my wacom...but I don't know of any other programs that can do the same thing. I pretty sure gimp can do screen tones, too, but it's not as fun as in Krita...and I don't understand gimp that well...'orz
GEEZ! that does sound like a pain in the butt... I was sorta the same way though ... I'll have to find that program you use so I can try it out. To me your stuff looks awesome and I want to attempt it. and Sai I tried it once for a little while. I had no idea what I was doing so... that was a Pfffft :p No GO. but I guess all I have to do is keep tampering with things... So lazy and hard headed.
Same here, same here! XD That's why I don't use (that and I can install it on my operating system). I use Linux so I can use GIMP or Krita, but Krita is really nice because it has this crosshatching brush that looks like screen tones! But besides that I don't have much else at meh disposal.
On the previous chapter I had Windows Vista and I used Photoshop 7.0, Paint Tool SAi, and Photoshop elements on that one. The reason I used both was because for some reason the screentones that I downloaded from screen toning sites for Photoshop would only open in Photoshop elements, but I liked using Photoshop 7.0 more...I dunno, it was a lot of programs, I'm glad I only have two programs to use, now! XD
I did have Manga Studio but I could never figure out the dimensions thing...it would either be wayyyy too small or wayy too huge and I felt better drawing in SAI and then when it came to screen tones it was a butt so I just didn't use it. Some people can use it spectacularly, but I couldn't get much out of it.
iM LOVING THIS! I wish somwone would teach me how to use manga studio... that's what I have I don't know what you have but I need to learn!!! that program does not like me :(
This is looking good so far! The "shakiin" sound effect reminds me of scissors clipping something. :D Idk if that's a bad thing or not... the sound effect gets the point across! xD
