XD at least I like Dice better this way. Having him as a Greed clone would take away from the story, cuz when Marshall lost his wallet, Dice would've been like, "Well, it's mine now, loser, so quit being a whiny crybaby and suck it up!" and I would've instantly hated him.

OK, first, for the record, the demon Keba is running and hiding from is female. Second, when I meant stamina, I meant to use her powers. She's fairly good at the running and hiding thing. But then again, Destination has a fairly weak plot, so I don't blame you for your comment.

What I mean by "greed for MORE GREED" is that Greed didn't have enough screen time for my liking. I came up with Dice as a character to remedy that. Then his character somehow collided with this other idea I had about a kid with powers that were against his/her religion to use, and that's how Survival Instincts was born.

OK, since you've tempted me, here's the Greed incarnate incarnate rundown. Greed takes stuff because he's gotta have everything. Dice takes stuff because he doesn't know stealing is wrong. Greed doesn't lie because of his principles. Dice is just really bad at lying, so he avoids doing so. Now come some (but not all) of the REALLY BIG SPOILERS from parts of the story that I haven't even posted yet. Greed thinks of humans as possessions because that's how he justifies concepts like friendship and love-- or that's how I see it, anyway. Dice is naive, and isn't clear on the concept of ownership, so he thinks of Naomi and Marshall as his. Greed wants nothing to do with his family. Dice is seeking revenge on his. And they both have The Grin.

To be honest, in the initial draft, Dice was a lot more like Greed. The fatal flaw in that was that Greed isn't exactly good. And two teenagers have no business hanging around him. So I had to go through the long, painful process of purifying Dice's soul. It was hard and tears were shed, but I did it. And I think Dice likes himself better this way.

KYAA I so want to understand the whole "Greed incarnate incarnate" thing, even though it would mean major spoilers.
And about the joke... It feels like it came from something Greed said in the manga/anime when he first met the Elricz combined with general hints about Survival Instincts, right? And the "greed for more greed" thing plus how Greed wants EVERYTHING led to the "Therefore, I own you" line?
