Ah, I have the do the same thing. I don't like youtube's auto quality changer thing...I want it to be the quality that I watched the rest of my videos in. For me, though, youtube stops altogether sometimes...I have to keeping using the back button if I want to watch any of the videos.
Yeah, for me, I usually just listen to music, so the quality doesn't matter too much (unless it's 240p...sounds like crap when it's that low) as long as I can watch the video.
That's odd. Usually, if a video starts up, I have to quickly click 360p quality(sic?), or else, it will do this weird thing where it will automantically(sic?) change to 240p and then a part of the video will repeat itself. Sorry, that probably doesn't make much sense, but it happens to me for some reason.
Being able to watch HD videos without having to wait forever to load would be very nice, but alas, that's not possible. Oh well, as long as I can watch videos, I'm good.
My laptop can't load 1080p for some reason...it did in the past, but ever since the newish update of youtube's flash I can't load it at all. I keep forgetting that whenever I put on 1080p...I dunno why I'm telling you this.
I abuse the HD on my videos...I feel bad that you can't do as well...;3; I remember before we could put it on anything higher I watched some of the lowest quality videos ever, but now I can't stand to watch that. The HD is just too tempting....I can't just watch a video, it must be in HD.
Yeah we have some local one that I can't really figure out xD My roommate installed it and I haven't figured out how to tweak it as of yet orz
I rarely do HD unless it comes automatically and loads fast. But if I do watch any k-pop videos I really do want HD. It's just a shame to mess up their beautiful faces -^^- XD
haha! I suppose the one good thing about not having internet at my house until I went to college was we never had really slow internet o-o

Yes, it's totally the internet connection.
I have AT&T, which IMO, is probably the best internet there is, but I dunno if that's true or not.
Still, even though I can't watch HD videos, I think my internet is pretty fast! I recall having to use dial-up on Windows 98 during my childhood, and umm, let's just say that it wasn't fun.
You are not alone! I have a relatively new MacBook Pro and it lags on 360! Though I think the problem is partially the internet connection and not the computer at all.
