Your work wont be ugly. Perfectionism is a hard habit to break ^^; I'm more worried about the story itself, and the other panels, I'm worried they wont be as funny or as good as the others that's all, but I'll try to get over that

Gah I can't believe you're worried! xD Wll I do understand you though, I think its partially cuz we are working in a group and we have no idea what the next panel is going to hold nor what the next person wants to draw >U< I spent a while trying to figure out that myself, but I think you are right... the second panels will be much funner and easier ^U^ But I'm excited to see how your comic turns out, its a great start!
Don't feel self-conscious. I'm still working on mine. I think mine looks ugly and rushed, but I don't care. Actually I do care, but I'm going to post it anyway, ugly or not. So don't worry about perfection.
