If a guy wasn't treating me with respect I would dump him on his ass as well and I hope all goes well with you and your new lover as well. As for the rambling, don't worry, I'll be sure to return the favor when I get a love life.

I suppose breaking up is pretty rough, I have been through one and I was the one dumping the other partner for obvious reasons. Let's just say that it wasn't pretty, and I'm really not used to purposely making others upset/mad, but it had to be done because I WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT. I wouldn't allow myself to be used any longer.
Oddly enough though, my ex now doesn't seem to be mad at me anymore, and to be honest, I'm not mad at him anymore. Sure, I still get upset when I think about what he did to me, but you know what they say, "The past is the past."
Plus, he didn't seem to have any trouble finding a new girlfriend,
and appearently, they seem to be going strong. Maybe he has changed his ways, or maybe we just weren't meant to be together.
I have found a new lover after all. Well, a futre lover to be more exact, we aren't really quite ready to date each other yet, if that makes sense. Hopefully soon we will date, unless something really bad happens again. It's kinda 50/50 I suppose, but unlike my ex, he really really REALLY seems not want to be apart from me, and he appearently would accept me anyway I am. Which is something my ex had never said before. So yeah.
I hoped you enjoyed my endless rambling about my love life. I'm sure it was very entertaining. *Sarcasm*

I think that if you're partner is really horrible (abusive) then yeah they should definitely be dumped instead of cheated on. And what I was saying wasn't meant to sound as if I supported cheating (which I definitely do not). I was just thinking of why people might do it. I don't have a lot (or any) dating experience but I've only seen what happens to my friends so in my head I can't really tell the emotional difference between being dumped by text or cheated on. Also, breaking up with someone without hurting their feelings is hard. I'm really sorry if this comes off as insensitive I didn't mean it to but I know I can sound that way sometimes.

The only way I can forgive cheating is if your partner is really horrible (Abusive, etc.) and even still, I think the better option is to just end the relationship.
Instead of cheating, I think a person should just break up with the other. It's not that hard, and less feelings would get hurt.
I, for one, know first hand how cheating affects a person, and trust me, it HURTS BAD. I still haven't really gotten over it yet, and sometimes, it keeps me up at night thinking about what I did wrong to deserve it. A question that will never be answered.
So yeah, cheating is pretty sucky and evil, but that's just my opinion on it.
I'm not condoning cheating but some people are just unappreciative of the good they have got going and are bored by it. Kind of like how sometimes celebrities mix it up a little to get their blood pumping. (perfect example, Justin Bieber, was bored, did illegal stuff)
