That totally makes sense, and well, to be honest, I've been guilty of doing that as well. I used to know this guy who was obviously having a hard time and struggling with depression, and well, at first, whenever he was in a bad mood, I would try to comfort him, cheer him up and offer help, but he just kept going on and on, it never seemed to end, and the worst was when he would be happy one minute and suddenly become depressed.
I know that it wasn't his fault, but I had problems of my own at that time, and being around him wasn't really helping things out because he never really said anything positive.
Though, he seems to be doing better now, which is good.

I knowww...it's a pain because other people don't understand your feelings exactly. There was a study that showed that for some reason people react aggressively to other people's sadness. People think they would comfort somebody when they are sad or crying, but in reality they actually scorn the other person thinking that they are faking it for attention, or that they are just emotional and crying over nothing, or something. It's just weird things like that that can make life so frustrating. I really wonder why people react like that. Sometimes people do comfort other people when they are sad, but that's only if they are in a good mood.
