Thanks so much! I use a simple plain black pen and it just seems to glide easy with this paper i'm using so shading is pretty easy with the pen ^^

Oh it makes sense and I've noticed it myself I'm just horrible with any type of side profile lol ^^ I'm trying to work on it though

OK. The way you have it, his eyes are the same size, even though his head is turned. His right eye should be foreshortened. Since it's further away from the viewer, it shouldn't be as wide in length as the closer eye. Try to "scrunch" the sides a little bit. I hope that helps... or at least makes sense.

Oooh I like the idea of this challenge. I'm sort of doing it unofficially and not putting all my scribbles on theO (because I need practise ^^;) but I'm aiming for at least one doodle/sketch per week.

The way you drew Kou Tanaka's mouth is really well done ^^ I am determined to improve on drawing facial features this year. And perhaps hands too... Maybe. Haha!
