I think you don´t need to feel like you´re the only one. I suppose the others just didn´t lift heir hands twice due to overthinking things. Truth is, slamming the door or hiding in your room are often done when one is young. So technically everyone had to raise their hands twice.
Yes, I'm sure everyone does it sometimes, but if that's the ONLY way you express your anger, then it's considered a problem.
I have a very difficult time talking about how I feel when I'm angry, or depressed because I don't know how to explain it most of the time.
So, in turn, I just let off some steam by either giving the silent treatment, or just locking myself in my room until I calm down.
Doesn't everyone do that?
I mean, there comes a time and a place for verbally expressing your emotions, but in almost every emotion a physical response is usually instantaneous and more thorough than a complex verbal expression.
Plus passive-aggressiveness is also apparent in how forward you are with people.
I consider excessive sarcasm and some narcissism to be passive-aggressive, but just the other way around. Instead of physically expressing your emotions, you instantly project it with a tinge in your voice.
The therapist handed us all a paper explaining each behavior in detail.
To make it short, it's usually when someone stomps around, slams doors, or refuses to talk about why they are mad.
Errm...Like me, most of the time.
Honestly, I was surprised when I was the only one in the whole room that raised their hand, and there are like, 6-8 people there.

That, my friend, is passive-agressive.

It was awkward.

That's probably because not many people truly understand what passive-aggressive behaviors are.
