Dogs sniff each others butts to check each other out. Its kinda how they say stuff like; "Hi.", "Who are you?", and "How are you?". My guess is that the person who sniffed her did not realize that she was a she. Kinda like like a guy getting an up close look at a girl's breasts to check to make sure she was a girl with out the girl saying it was ok. Did I get that right, KatNekoChan?
