Hey, good story you got there. I like the concepts that you have placed...
Professional or not, the story is the main focus of a good manga, so keep at it.
I don't get the statement you said that this is a Filipino style manga... I don't read much manga, but I have read some Komiks when I was a kid.
By the way, I really like the news where "a typhoon is about to hit the country, but our country is running away" bit. Really creative. Awesome!
