I don't think he's gay, but I do think he's on the verge of saying "Screw it! Save your own damn kingdom Zelda!" I mean, counting alternate dimensions and his (horrible) TV show, he's saved the kingdom about 26 times. 29 if you wanna count Four Swords as 4 savings of the kingdom.
