as for the sparklies:
well, i used photoshop(i have ps elements 5) for the sparklys X3, I used a regular soft round brush and went to i believe assorted brushes to get the crosshatch/hatch brush (but i did it on a blank document so that i don't mess my artwork up) so i can make the hatch go in the direction i wanted. (use marquee tool then use the select tool to move the hatch brush in any direction) after that when you're satisfie, Marquee select what you did and go to either edit>define brush or edit>define pattern (w/ pattern you go to stamp tool) and name them, and that's it X3 hope it helps.
if you have a deviantart account, you could ask me for a tutorial if you're still stuck.

and yeah you need to make the pages bigger so everyone can read! i suggest posting them on myspace and then from their here. it makes the pic smaller but still big enough to read.

Great job! I love the name! Your artwork is really good! And I see that you're using Manga Studio...right...am I right? I see the same stuff I see in my Manga Studio...and nice and original idea! But...I can't read it...the text is too small. I tried using the High Resolution, but it actually made it smaller. Well, anyways I really like it! Keep up the awesome work! ^ ^
