Um...I fail at computer work since I don't have photoshop but I shall ask this question any way. HOW CAN YOU DRAW ARMS!!!??? I just can't get the joints right.

I love all of the tutorials~! Every one of them has helped me out and encourage me to try playing around with these new styles! It's so much fun~ My favorite part is the hair section on the pt. 2 of the soft-shading tutorial. :>
Can I suggest another tutorial? I fail horribly at drawing accurate muscles on my characters, and when I try, they just never look right. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to draw muscles like you did in the sketch here and this art. Thanks! :D
It is a pretty glitchy program, and is far from perfect so there are alot of questionable things on it.
If you want to try something else, I know of a few other freewares that are alot more sturdy.
there is Paint.net, which I never really used because I got photoshop shortly after downloading
And there is the GIMP, which is a nice program but it doesn't fare well on slower or older computers.
Though if you ever need help with Nekopaint, you can feel free to ask a question...I've used it long enough to get to know some of it x.D
wow your tutorial is really helpful^^ but is it just me or is Nekopaint words all in gibberish?? x.x I'm so sorry! I really did download the English version! Dx
It's a freeware program called NekoPaint I stumbled upon one day (for the english version you have to scroll all the way down in the column to the left and click 'english page'). It makes some really nice crisp lines once you get the brush settings right
I reccomend saving alot though because it isnt a very sturdy program x.D
Uwa! This helps a lot! I didn't know about the CTRL+G before @_@ lol so this is very helping for me... and btw.... i kept on thinking, i might ask you this.
How do you lineart such pic? i mean smooth and with small pixel @_@ uhm well i don't know how to explain it on english but i want to know how to lineart like that... >_<
I use a freeware called NekoPaint for the lines most of the time. When i scan i just use a 200dpi resolution c:
In NekoPaint, youd have to mess with the settings of the brush and save alot too. It can get rather glitchy :.D
Sweet, I've never actually used the control G function (I always use the magic wand tool) but I have a question!
Do you ink your pictures before hand? And if so, what resolution do you scan it in, or how do you get your pictures to have a crisp line art? If you don't, is there any technique you use for digitally inking?
Thanks so much for making this!! ;3; I've been so confused about how to make shading look different depending on the lighting, so this helped a lot. ;D
Do you know if the control+G thing works on gimp, by chance? C:
kyah, you should make a tutorial about how you shade so well! I love the fact that you use purples and yellows for shades and tints... makes sense as they're opposites. Do you use red/green or blue/orange as well? :D Guess I could just look at your gallery for that, ne...? ;>_> EITHER WAY! You should totally give us your knowledge on shading!!!
Lol,I'ma have to keep my eye on this! love the name!! O! I have a question!! HOW DO YOU DRAW FREAKIN HANDS AND FEET?!?!??! THEY DRIVE ME NUTS!! @.@ lol!
