you should help me work on a story for my naruto story. it's named Naruto : Kuro memorī. its a bout a boy running from his hidden past as an Uchiha, would love to work with u.
It looks good so far! But you would like some feedback...I'll do the best that I can do and to the best of my knowledge to help!
First of all, the layout of the pages are very important. The panels themselves tell the story. So where you place them and the different effects you use with them can effect the impact of the story. I think you've been doing pretty well with this so far, though. Just keep that in mind.
Second of all, cloth is very wrinkly a lot of the time and rarely is it actually flat and straight (personally, I dislike clothes that look like that...they don't look as lively) so don't be afraid to put in moar wrinkles! >:D But don't go overboard with them, 'cause then they're end up looking really freakeh...But just look at real life pictures for reference on these...or...look at yourself whenever you're dressing yourself or just sitting there.
And if you're not doing outlining...DO OUTLINING! And outlining as in y'know the thing with the circle and the plus sign to position the eyes. I've told this to everyone who's ever asked for feedback. I must tell you it WORKS. I've improved a TON just by doing that. And even if you feel like you can do it without the outline, some people can, but if you're looking for faster improvement and a better look overall, go with the outline (and you can do whatever you want on the outline, whatever you think gives you the best idea for what you're doing and for the right anatomical proportions).
Something I learned from Obata-sama~! Look at the angles that are used in movies...think about why they're used. You can get inspiration from the different angles of the camera. You can do the exact same thing with manga and it'd give you the same kind of effect. It's like music in the movie, it just adds to it. If everything was just seen from one spot it'd be very boring and it'd probably be very confusing and you'd have a cramped feeling. Try different angles that you think will give more emphasis to a scene.
I think I've typed too much (maybe I should've pmed you with all of this...'orz).
Well.
These characters are attending the battles of the end of the chuunin exams.
and these two in particular characters are visiting from another country.
If you've seen episode 59 of Naruto - it might answer some questions.
If you haven't guessed already, Crane shown previously is affiliated with the character Kiippon.
Which as the story goes on, you'll figure out how Naruto makes an impact with Kiippon.
I apologize for the confusion!
Anything else you'd like to know.
