She glared at you? Wow, some people are like that, they think that their dog is better than anyone’s. Never had someone shove my dog because they were sniffing theirs before though. (Also I don't mind the story, I like listing to stories. My friend talks about her dogs all the time.)
funny story actually (this comment inspired this so sorry) i took him to the park and he's part australian shepherd so i'd trained him to run through the play set like an agility course. one day this woman and her special pure bred boxer was there. she saw me do this with lucky and got a >:( look. she took the dog and said to her kid "look! Tammie's gonna go down the slide!" (the grand fanal of my dogs "agility coarse" was he'd go down the slide) she did all she could to try and get that thing down the 3 year olds slide. the puny one that comes up to my hip. When lucky later went over to sniff the dog the woman shoved him away as if he would get her little princess dirty. i honestly think my mutt is better then most pure breds. they left in a sour mood cause my scraggly old mutt could do better then her $5,000 pit bull
yeah i have to pick him up to put him in the car. but he HATES being picked up so he perposely flops onto his side so i cant. it takes me five minutes before i can trick him into letting me pick him up....
i know how you feel my dog is like 14 and not only is he old he has back problems so he can jump up sometimes but he'll be on the edge of my bed trying for like ten minutes before he makes it so if i notice him i pick him up :)
Aw, I wish dogs wouldn’t age so quickly. I miss my doggy. T^T
And that’s such a sweet story of how you got your dog. Sad how people will not adopt a puppy cause it’s a mutt. (In fact my dog was a mutt too if I remember right, we found him as a puppy in the rain on a sidewalk. We rescued him. ^-^) Anyways very nicely done, and I hope you have Lucky for a long time.
(Also if you ever want to talk I will always answer, I talk to my friend a lot about dogs since she kind of breeds hers. Thought I’d offer just in case. Also for any other thing if you need to, if not that’s ok. ^-^)

I put a short stool by my bed so she can climb up without tearing my air bed to shreds!
