Tell me this doesn't fit perfectly! You've got two brothers on a quest and they seem to come to a lot of dead ends. And the older one is shorter. (Ed: WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALLER THAN A PIXELATED VIDEO GAME CHARACTER?!)

I got this idea when I was only a little ways into the series. I just had to do it. It took me a while to finish it, but I got it done.

Yes, I know I cheated with Alphonse's face. His body was hard enough to draw already. (How do all those people who have to draw him-- much less animate him-- do it?) I originally was going to draw him in Luigi's outfit, but that didn't seem to fit a spikey suit of armor. So Ed's the only one fully dressed up. Hmm... Ed and Mario sure wear a lot of red, don't they?

I wasn't sure if I should submit it to the Fan Art section, but then I figured that this would be a one-panel comic. I'm using this as the example for my "Fullmetal Silliness" Challenge. At the time of this post, I have zero entries. I hope this picture inspires somebody.

I used the usual penicl, eraser, colored pencils, and pens on sketch paper. I almost always do.
