Not done with Prismacolors... but I should stop giving them as an excuse for messing up. I mean, if I tried, I could fix those mistakes... but I digress.

Lucky for me I used mechanical pencil this time.

This is Jay. He's my newest OC, born from a sketch I did while studying for my Spanish final last week. (I will submit that sketch later.) He started out as a fanart of Finland from Hetalia, but then I couldn't decide who he was supposed to be, so... yeah.

You might be wondering (actually, you probably are wondering) why he's all covered in bandages. I think, or at least what my subconscious seems to be suggesting to me, is that he is a representation of every mental and physical injury I have sustained since birth. The song that inspired me to draw this is Ben Howard's "Keep Your Head Up." The premise of the song is that, even through severe difficulties and pain, you can still find hope. That basically sums up Jay's backstory.
