Yeeeahh, so, it's appearently not recommend to touch your snake on it's head, because it makes them nervous or something, and they might strike.

I dunno about that. I've kinda done that a few times to my snake (before knowing this info) and he never really did anything, just kinda lied there.
Also, yes, I sometimes pet my snake, even though I'm sure snakes aren't really animals that enjoy being pet. I can't help it, he's so cute. :(
