This past Sunday for Movie Sign, we watched the movie "Monster A-Go-Go", episode 421 of Mystery Science Theater. There was already much anticipation of how painful it would be, but man, it was a hurter.

I, however, didn't find it to be worse than one we watched two weeks ago, "Rocketship X-M" [ep. 201], which was extremely dull in the middle. I was in the minority there.

What made "Monster" notoriously bad was that the movie ran out of money and was abandoned, then picked up and finished four years later with an entirely different cast. Strike one! The sound was also terrible, with conversations being muffled out and incomprehensible. Strike two! And then...a narrator. You kill yourself there. Strike three!
